Organisational context

Positions
MRV & Digitalisation WG owns the digital-MRV, registry-interoperability, and AI-MRV work for IETA.
Active initiatives
Digital MRV architecture; AI-assisted monitoring; registry-interoperability.
Pressures
Registry operators seeking shared schemas; government ETS operators requesting technical-assistance.

Specific alignment

Why this recipient benefits: **THE single highest-fit target across the entire release arsenal.** Classen's WG is the institutional venue where proof-pack schema becomes the reference MRV data structure for the industry. His government-ETS work means adoption cascades internationally. HIGHEST PRIORITY for first IETA engagement.

Why now: WG programme 2025-2026.

The ask: WG technical submission. Proof-pack schema as reference MRV data structure; registry-interoperability brief; government-ETS deployment roadmap.

Why IETA is the right venue

IETA is the business voice of the emissions-trading industry. IETA working-group endorsement of per-tonne evidentiary disclosure translates immediately into uptake by member companies — traders, project developers, verification firms, and corporate offtake buyers. The ~300 IETA members are also the actors who will price proof-pack-equipped credits once they exist.

The three org-level IETA documents — the Integration Whitepaper, Partnership Proposal, and Technology Alignment Analysis — should be presented at the relevant working group rather than at the board level first. Working-group-level engagement is where the technical acceptance happens; board-level engagement is where the organisational endorsement follows.
